I fell in love with Arley on their website, but as soon as we visited in person we both knew it was the right venue for our wedding. The grand staircase gave me goosebumps, and the cruck barn was exactly what my partner had in mind for the ceremony. We were shocked to hear it isn't used more often.

Millie was great throughout our whole process, putting up with my many questions trying to be an organised bride. And during the weekend she made sure everything ran smoothly. As did Ian in the evening.

The Barrett's catering team kept us fed and kept checking in, which is much appreciated on such an overwhelming day.

All of our guests were in awe at the hall, and the grounds, which were stunning in the autumn sunshine. (I still cant believe we got that weather!) I can't wait to get more photos back from our photographer.

The accommodation is stunning! I wish we could have stayed longer to fully appreciate it. The security guard (apologies I've forgotten his name) was so lovely and made us all feel safe, but like we belonged too.

All in all, our wedding was so special and that had a lot to do with Arley, the estate and the team. I can't thank you enough and we will certainly be back to visit!

We wanted to write to try and express our thanks for all your work on our wedding over the past year. We were both really excited for what looked like it was going to be our dream wedding, but I can honestly say that we were shocked by how you exceeded all of those expectations. What’s more, everything was so much easier than we expected it to be, so we were able to relax, enjoy the day, and really feel looked after. We’ve had so many messages from guests saying that it was the best wedding that they have ever been to, and there is no way that we can take credit for that - it was all thanks to you.

Arley Hall was our ideal venue since we discovered it back in 2023, and it was so lucky that our ideal date was the only one left when we enquired. We took some time to walk around the grounds after we left the cottage on the morning after the wedding, and were in disbelief over how it all turned out. I think we actually ran into the Viscount in the woodland walk, but he was in conversation with someone else and we didn’t want to disturb him. If you wouldn't mind, please pass on all of our thanks and compliments to him on the hall, the gardens, and the wonderful team. Lia and I are really looking forward to returning throughout the year and enjoying more serene walks among the gardens. We’ll be able once again to watch them evolve through the seasons without the fear of what weather will come in August!

I've just suddenly realised we never said thank you for our day with you. From start to finish, the whole Arley team made our ideas into a reality, you are made our entire day, especially with the sun making an appearance meaning we were able to have our ceremony in the beautiful herbaceous border. Arley Hall is a special place to my family and we feel incredibly lucky to able to start our marriage there.

Ashley - your insight, guidance and suggestions made special moments even more amazing. The most memorable one being meeting my Grandad on the staircase before he walked me down the aisle. I cry literally every time I see the videos and photos of this moment, they are so beautiful and without your suggestion, I wouldn't have had this.

Millie - my Reception saviour! Thanks to you, I was a very happy (comfortable) bride dancing the night away in Olympia in my pyjamas and fluffy slippers, after my dress was finished having its moment in the limelight. You were an absolute joy. Nothing was too much trouble, we felt we could relax and enjoy our evening with our guests until the party was over, when you walked with us through the dark to the stunning Chapel House.

We have visited a few times since and plan to carry on into the future, reliving little parts of the day, enjoying the gardens and creating new memories.

Dear Shelagh and Debbie,

A rather overdue email to thank you both for an outstanding day at Arley on 4th November.

From first contact we sensed that you were 'safe hands' and we have been proven right! Most of us have had little experience of planning a big 'bash'; we were no exception. So we were grateful that you had the right mix of responsiveness and unflappability; and also dealt with minor, and sometimes rather silly worries, with respect.

We felt so 'at home' in Arley; it was most odd, we really felt like it was our home. Now that is surely a huge accolade? More than that, our guests were delighted by the surroundings, and felt truly welcome. Being able to circulate through all the rooms was a huge plus because we had that sense of space and freedom.
The Chapel is glorious; Alec felt like an old friend; we will be back.

Ashley, as you know, is a super star. I mean, is there nothing he can't do?? Barretts were fabulous, period. Everything was just perfect; even the (imperfect) weather screamed "England" to our US guests, in contrast to the intense sun of St Louis!

So, thank you all, and long may you continue to manage the magic!

Just a quick note to say the wedding went really well and we were so pleased with the excellent organisation on the day. The Sinclair Wedding! What an absolutely fabulous venue and corner of the world. We arrived single people and are leaving as a married couple with just the BEST memories. The staff are all amazing and we have just had the best stay in Chapel House, we will be returning for more visits - AMAZING PLACE!

Hope all is well, what can I say, there are not enough words to describe our wedding at Arley on Friday, it was perfect, every single guest who attended our wedding commented and how perfect the day was, how the wedding ran so smoothly, and how amazing the staff were. It was described as one big family.
The staff were so professional. We had the best day of our lives, from start to finish and I wanted to thank all the Arley team, I know it is a long day for the staff and when they say dreams come true, I really do mean that. It was absolutely beyond anything I had envisioned
I would like to Thank you for the annual pass – it is something we are going to take advantage of and hopefully we will see you soon as we come back to see the gardens and have some lunch in the Gardeners Kitchen

Every little query is immediately addressed; and sorted. After an optimistic Autumn the wedding was in danger of falling apart again, due to COVID, but you made it the most joyous of days, with all stress and sadness forgotten.

I wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to you all for enabling 2 of the most exquisite days of my life! When I came in February 2020, I simply didn't need to look anywhere else - it was warm, inviting, beautiful & felt like home. Enabling a ceremony of 15 in Dec 2021 was extremely special, you went above & beyond resulting in an extremely intimate ceremony - thank you to Shelagh for her reassurance! On to our 'big' Wedding in December 2021 - every detail was calmly accounted for. I'm in awe of Ashley who always said 'I'll do that!' Thank you also for our pass, a lovely surprise. Arley Hall will always feel like home to me - I could do it every year! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything, I can't wait to return!
